The “How” of Personal Brand Photography

How does personal brand photography help you? With a studio based in New York City, my forte and passion is telling stories through still photography. It’s way more than a head-shot. Personal brand photography is about conveying your brand’s story through imagery.

How can we tell your story? It begins with digging deep into what I call the Twin Whys:

1)    Why you do what you do?

2)    Why does your audience follow you?

To figure out the Twin Whys, you have to determine your motivation behind your business and figure out what you have to offer your audience that others do not. Analyze why your audience follows you by determining what unique things you share with your audience – what makes them click with you? What encourages them to comment on your posts or engage with you on social media? What are they missing in their lives that you have to offer?

When we team up for your personal branding photography session, we will take a deep dive into these questions and then use them to build themes and contextual stories around those themes. This is where my specific photo journalistic skills start to thrum like a well-tuned base guitar. I will take what I learn from you about yourself and your brand and translate it into photos that will resonate with your audience.


But don’t worry, it’s not a solo project. I am part of your team and will make sure your ideas are the anchor for your photo shoot. We will collaborate to create images that will grow your Know, Like, and Trust factors that will lead to diehard fans who convert to your brand – and share your name with others, too!
