Client Spotlight: Alex

Alex “True” Perez is a Transformational Mindset and Business Coach who is growing his brand to help others. When I first met him, I was instantly intrigued by his work and fell into easy conversation with him. I felt inspired by him and knew right away I wanted to highlight his story and business in my blog.

A Little About Alex

“I would describe myself as a student of life – a curious soul with a growth mindset. I preach and teach that we are all powerful creators in our own right, and at this stage in my personal evolution, I’ve really begun to embody that truth.

“My Story started on the gritty streets of the Lower East Side in the 1980’s – Ed Koch era. I am the rose that grew from the concrete. I will generously extend myself to enlighten, empower, and help someone move from a suffering state.

“I jokingly describe myself as 50% Deepak Chopra and 50% Tupac Shakur. My mission is to end the poverty of poor mindset and transform the lives of people living in the Matrix.”

We decided that in this session we would focus on three story lines. “Routines” that would involve stretches, walking, and writing in his journal; “Mindset” that would try to illustrate personal growth and introspection; and “Studio” that would give him images that would illustrate public speaking to provide images to use for promos (we also incorporated a touch on a “Matrix” theme that he uses to illustrate what he teaches to portray his style of coaching).
We also included some candid photos of him with his family do display his personal side. Family is important to him, and capturing these images adds a more personal touch to his social media platforms.

Through my work as a personal brand photographer, I strive to help entrepreneurs like Alex further their positive impact on society. Together, we can invoke the change we hope to see in the world.
